The area has much to offer for all types and we would be only too glad to provide fuller details based on our experience

Bermuda Bay is ideally placed close to the Intersate highways which provides quick and easy access to most parts

However, to provide some kind of flavour of what you can expect:

• St Pete's Beach is a chilled out place and only 15 minutes away with great beaches and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from
• The Pier in St Petersburg is a "must see"
• Busch Gardens is a short drive away in Tampa
• Orlando, and all that goes with this e.g. Disney, Universal Studios etc is about an hour and a half away
• Fort De Soto Beach and Nature Reserve is 10 minutes away
• Heading north there's Clearwater Beach which has great appeal for the young and more great places to eat
  

There are many recreational facilities whether it’s:

• Fishing
• Golf (courses aplenty!)
• Boat trips
• Parasailing
• Greyhound and Horse racing (depending on the time of year)
• American Football (Bucaneers) and Baseball (Devil Rays) can be seen at the impressive Tropicana Stadium
  

There are also loads of restaurants to suit most palates

It’s also a shoppers dream:

• Tyronne Mall is 15 minutes drive
• Walmart and Publix supermarkets are 2 mins away
• Ellenton Factory Outlets half an hour away (Nike, Reebok, Adidas etc)
• Downtown St Petersburg 10 mins
• Also you musy try some of the Flea markets for some real bargains on one hand and on the other fresh farm produce from the local farmers
  

Plus if you're into the arts, there's the Salvidor Dali Museum and museum of Fine Arts to go and visit
